Third Grade Religion
Cindy and her family are long time parishioners of Prince of Peace parish and she has been teaching Confirmation at the church since 2016. Cindy is very excited to share her Catholic faith with our students. Her goal is to foster a love for all aspects of Catholicism and to help her students understand the importance of having a strong relationship with Christ.

Emily Leibach graduated from Samford University in 2017. She holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education. She joined the Prince of Peace faculty after teaching fourth grade for five years at Cornerstone Schools of Alabama.
Emily believes that all students are capable of success. She strives to create a classroom environment in which students feel safe and valued. She feels that the most effective teaching tool is a good sense of humor!
Emily lives in Helena with her husband, Cooper. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and watching SEC football.

Lisa Smith joined the Prince of Peace faculty in 2022. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in early/elementary education. Over the course of 20 years, she has taught 3rd grade and PreK, was the director of a preschool, worked for a virtual school as an advisor for High School seniors, and taught kindergarten. She is excited to be back in third grade at POP.
Lisa is committed to igniting a love of learning that will enable every child to achieve their very best. She is passionate about teaching and encouraging students to be kind, loving, and to grow in their Christian values.
