Students in elementary school enjoy using various forms of art to express themselves and enrich their academic experience. Weekly art and music classes allow students to explore different instruments and styles of music, famous artists, cultures, and artistic styles. Allowing students to express themselves through art and music gives each student a unique opportunity to be themselves and connect with others.

The mission of the Prince of Peace Catholic School Library is to foster an active learning environment and promote Catholic values through access and information literacy instruction for all learners in the school community. Preschool through fifth grade class receive weekly library classes. Kindergarten through eighth grade students have access to check-out books from the library.

Students attend PE classes multiple times a week, learning hand-eye coordination skills starting in PreK and progressing through official rules of team sports in middle school. Fitness and health are both emphasized through exercise science and activities that are designed to meet every student’s abilities.

Students begin Spanish lessons in PreK-3 classes, learning through songs and stories. As they get older, students learn conversational Spanish and discover Spanish cultural traditions.

Beginning in PreK-4, students visit the STEM Lab or Computer Lab for weekly lessons. Through engineering projects, group work, and exploratory technology games, students develop creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and computational thinking skills.
